From Siberia With Health

There isn't a single best Siberian herbal tea for everyone. For a rich, earthy cup, start with chaga mushroom. For something fruity, explore sea buckthorn. If you're looking for a naturally caffeine-free drink with a flavour closer to conventional tea, try fermented Ivan Chai. Prefer stronger botanical flavours? Siberian ginseng, Maral root, dandelion or burdock may be more interesting. And for a gentler introduction, raspberry leaf, black currant leaf or calendula and chamomile are easy places to begin. The important thing is to treat these plants for what they are: fascinating traditional botanical ingredients with distinctive flavours, cultural histories and many possibilities for modern tea rituals — rather than miracle remedies.
